Einride’s May Update: Almedalen & More!

May was another incredible month for Einride as we approach Almedalen and the summer ahead.  This month has been one of the most critical months for our team, and we are proud to say that we pushed through it!  We are heading towards June with high spirits and the drive to accomplish even more.

We had a few more media appearances this month, one which included an excellent interview with our CEO Robert Falck in NyTeknik.  The other was a VentureBeat list of the top 5 companies that are disrupting the road freight industry.

Title: Keep on truckin’: 5 companies disrupting the road freight industry

Einride was listed along with Peloton, Embark, KeepTruckin, and OnTruck as one of the top 5 companies that are disrupting the road freight industry.  We are so proud to be featured on this list and that our launch and mission has had such a large impact on the industry.

“It’s still early days for Einride, but last month the Swedish startup lifted the lid on T-pod, an autonomous electric truck that can also be controlled remotely.”

Also, earlier this month, Robert was onstage at Vehicle Electronics & Connected Services presenting Einride, the T-pod, and our mission.  The overall reception from the crowd was excitement and curiosity as Robert explained what Einride is doing.  Many in the audience were familiar with our launch, so it was great being able to talk and meet with so many people that are interested in what we are doing.

Einride’s April Update

April was a very exciting month for Einride.  As most of you know, our launch that took place at the beginning of the month was a success.  We were featured in hundreds of articles all around the globe.

In case you missed anything, here is a summary of our launch:

The Launch of Einride

On April 6th, we officially launched what we have been working on to the world. We have created a technologically advanced system including the world’s first T-pod which will change the future of the transport industry and improve the sustainability of humankind.  In addition to the T-pod, there will be charging stations and an infrastructure that will make the system the most pioneering of its kind.

The T-pod is an electric, self-driving vehicle that can be remotely controlled by drivers.  Below is an image and specifications of the T-pod, click here to learn more:

Einride’s launch marks a global transition from heavy, noisy trucks with monstrous emissions and bad working conditions to emission-free, noise reduced trucks that allow workers to operate on a standard schedule closer to home.
